The fans might be waiting to see another showdown between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor, but Firas Zahabi wants to see Mayweather face Georges St. Pierre in a boxing match.

The Tristar Gym head coach spoke about the same during his recent appearance on the JRE MMA show. Zahabi revealed that he keeps on bothering GSP about the fight.
“I want Georges to fight Mayweather. I keep bothering Georges, ‘You fight Mayweather. You fight him.’ He’s like, ‘It’s crazy.’ I know it’s crazy. They’ll fight at a catchweight. Do you think Mayweather is worried that he’s going to be concussed? He’s fought all the top punchers in the world. He’s just going to have to worry about Georges’ volume and reach, but he can handle himself, and Georges can handle himself. But the whole world is going to tune into that one,” Zahabi said.
Mayweather had teased a move to MMA earlier this year but last week, he mentioned that everything is on hold for the time being. GSP, meanwhile, returned to the Octagon recently and claimed the Middleweight championship which he later vacated to take time off.
