Yair Rodriguez is now back in the UFC and he is set to fight Zabit Magomedsharipov next.
Despite all the controversy that went down, Rodriguez is looking to engage in a full-on war with Zabit. Rodriguez noted the same during a recent interview on UFC Unfiltered.
“I feel good about this fight. I think it’s going to be an impressive fight. People just have to see this, people just have to watch this amazing fight. Because we’re both young, we’re both talented. It’s going to be a f–king war out there for sure,” Rodriguez noted. (via MMA Nytt)
Rodriguez also went on to address the incidents that happened prior to his re-entry into the UFC.
“I understand people’s perspective and the whole media can manipulate it. It’s social media. Anybody can think whatever they want. It’s not reality,” Rodriguez told.
The fight between Rodriguez and Zabit is currently scheduled to take place at UFC 227.
