READ MORE: Jan Blachowicz reveals what Israel Adesanya should do to get a rematch

UFC Light-heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz has some piece of advice for his former opponent UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya. Jan Blachowicz explained what he feels Israel should do next to get a rematch against him for the light-heavyweight championship. Błachowicz defended the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship against current UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya on March 6, 2021, at UFC 259. He won the fight via unanimous decision. He was also the first fighter to defeat Israel Adesanya in the MMA setting. The fight was a close contest on the feat but the moment Jan started to use his wrestling Israel had no answers for that.

Since that fight, Israel had stated that he would like to fight Jan one more time but he wants to take some fights at middleweight and improve his game more before challenging the light-heavyweight champion again.

 Israel Adesanya vs Jan Blachowicz

Now Jan Blahciwcz has himself laid out the plan for Israel Adesanya through which he can get another shot at the light-heavyweight title and a chance to avenge his only loss in the UFC and MMA.

Yeah, why not? It’s possible. But first of all, if you go through my category, now he have to do some fights, you know? Not, ‘OK, I go try again.’ Not for the title. First of all, he need to beat maybe two, three guys in 205, and then maybe then they give him chance for the title. But not immediately,”

Israel Adesanya is coming off a decision win over Marvin Vettori in their rematch. He is now targeting to face the former middleweight champion, Robert Whittaker, again in their rematch. The duo first fought when Israel challenged Whittaker for the middleweight championship. He won the fight via ko in the second round of the fight after dropping Whittaker in the first round. Since then he has defended his title thrice. His next fight with Robert will be Israel’s 4th title defense. UFC is targeting this fight for the early of 2022. The fight was in talks for UFC 270 but now the scheduled has been changed and no new date has been announced yet.
