Sijara Eubank defeated Roxanne Modafferi at UFC 230 at the Madison Square Garden in New York on Nov.3. In her last fight which was a little over a month ago, she came in 1.4 pounds overweight and this nearly pulled her out of the UFC 230.
She was supposed to fight Valentina Shevchenko for UFC flyweight title after Nate Diaz and Justin Gaethje were pulled out of the card. But her dream to fight for the title and headline a card at Madison Square Garden were shattered as UFC found a new main event in Derrick Lewis vs. Daniel Cormier!

This wasn’t the first time that Eubanks failed to make weight, She was previously pulled from an initial title shot against Nicco Montaño at The Ultimate Fighter 26 Finale after suffering from kidney failure due to the weight cut.
This news was released by her manager Ali Abdelaziz, who told ESPN about her latest update of moving to the bantamweight division.
