Alex Pereira and Glover Teixeira aren’t only UFC colleagues, their bond goes beyond the Octagon.
Glover Teixeira receives a Harley-Davidson motorcycle from Alex Pereira as a gift
The two Brazilian mixed martial arts icons and former UFC champions have been longtime training partners, such as Teixeira helping Pereira in offensive and defensive wrestling, and Pereira returning the favour with aiding Teixeira in striking training.
All that being said, the latest gesture that once again proves how strong the bond between the two compatriots are comes from “Poatan”, who recently gifted Teixeira a brand new Harley-Davidson Road Glide motorcycle.
In a video shared on the former UFC Middleweight champ’s YouTube channel, titled “A gift for Glover”, the motorcycle is seen unloaded and placed into Texeira’s garage in Pereira’s presence, and the veteran fighter’s reaction is captured when the machine is unveiled right in front of him.

The former UFC Light Heavyweight champion also shared his feelings through a post on Instagram.
“I’m speechless thank you thank you very happy for the present,” wrote Teixeira in Portuguese. “I think what I always say in the gym and in interviews I think @alexpoatanpereira helped me more than I helped him and I’m always grateful for that, but this gift was from a friend I saw back there a potential to be a champion, and I wanted to be part of that Journey and him being a champion was everything, but when agent expects nothing the universe gives us much more, thank you my friend. Too happy.”
