Conor McGregor’s recent amusement at Belal Muhammad’s unfortunate toe infection has sparked a fiery response from Muhammad’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz. Muhammad, who was forced to withdraw from UFC 310 due to a severe bone infection in his toe, became the target of McGregor’s mockery. The Irishman posted several laughing emojis in reaction to Muhammad’s injury announcement, which did not sit well with Abdelaziz.
Abdelaziz, who has a long history with McGregor’s arch-rival Khabib Nurmagomedov, did not hold back in his response. He took to social media to slam McGregor, calling him an “alcoholic drug addict” and stating that McGregor was “never the same after Khabib.” Abdelaziz’s post read, “You can never be even 10% of the man Belal is. He’s the sitting welterweight champion. You’re a sitting alcoholic drug addict who ran from Michael Chandler. You were never the same after Khabib. He ruined you”.
Conor McGregor and Belal Muhammad saga
The exchange between McGregor and Muhammad has been ongoing, with Muhammad previously mocking McGregor’s infamous “foot was a balloon” interview after McGregor’s own injury earlier this year. In response to McGregor’s recent jibe, Muhammad fired back, labeling McGregor as a “junkie” and emphasizing their differences. Muhammad wrote, “I have this for antibiotics… you use needles because you are a junkie. We are not the same.”
As the MMA community continues to react to this heated exchange, it is clear that the rivalry between McGregor and Muhammad, as well as the lingering animosity from the McGregor-Nurmagomedov feud, remains intense.
