Ali Abdelaziz opens up on his partnership with ONE Championship

Prominent MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz of Dominance MMA has tied up with ONE Championship and now the biggest Asian promotion will boast higher calibre fighters fighting on the roster.

Ali Abdelaziz is the CEO of Dominance MMA manages some of the biggest stars in the world of Mixed Martial Arts like UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, Justin Gaethje, UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman etc.

Ali will be sending his free agency fighters to compete at ONE Championship and told that he has three big names that are in the process of signing with the Singapore based MMA promotion.

Me and Chatri [Sityodtong, CEO of ONE] talked, he’s a great man, a classy act, very well-educated,” Abdelaziz told Nick Atkin of SCMP MMA’s in a recent interview. “We talked about the possibility of exporting some of the free agents I have to go be part of such a huge promotion. I’ve got a lot of respect for Chatri. We’ve got a lot of common friends, especially Mr Renzo Gracie, who loves him. We’re in the middle of signing three huge names with ONE Championship.”

Ali Abdelaziz further added that he worked with over 300 athletes globally and he insisted that he is going to be bringing his best fighters to fight at ONE Championship.

I work with almost 300 athletes worldwide, some of the best,” he added. “I told Chatri, ‘Listen, you have a huge car race, like an arena, and I’m the mechanic who has the Lamborghinis and the Ferraris and the very nice cars’. I said I wanna show up in Singapore, bring in all my Ferraris and Lamborghinis and put on some the best shows the world has ever seen.”

ONE is a great place to be. It’s not only a fighter organisation, it’s about martial arts. You have to be a martial artist to be there. You have to fit in, to cater to the Asian fans. They also have some of the best fighters in the world, like Aung La N Sang, the middleweight champ, Demetrious Johnson, a future Hall of Famer, Eddie Alvarez.

I can bring a lot to the table, they can bring a lot to the table. It can a great partnership, for sure. I’m really excited about this new venture to expand into Asia.” Ali Abdelaziz concluded.
