The world-renowned MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz believes he has a whole group of fighters that can have the same impact as that of current UFC hype Khamzat Chimaev.

Chimaev (8-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) in just two fights has put the entire MMA community, especially the UFC welterweight division on notice. He has already made an unbelievable record of the shortest number of days between two UFC wins (10). He did it across two different weight classes which makes it even more impressive.

Abdelaziz, however, has his grip over talent-rich areas like Russia where fighters like Chimaev are originally produced. Speaking in an interview, Abdelaziz addressed the issue saying he has many fighters like Khamzat under his wing. He also gave an example of a fighter who might as well be on the same route as that of Chimaev’s.

“Everybody that comes out, comes out, right? Everybody says, ‘where has this guy been?’. I got ten Khamzat’s. But the guy really to look out for right now, nobody knows him. It’s Usman Nurmagomedov, Khabib’s younger brother who’s fighting in Abu Dhabi this weekend.

“He’s 9-0, all finishes, he’s an absolute killer. He’s a Muay Thai specialist, and he’s Khabib’s brother, you understand? And also, if you have the same blood as Khabib, you have good wrestling. I’m telling you, he is actually a better version than Khabib. He is better than Khabib. And I’m telling you, people should watch out for him, he’s an absolute killer, he’s got the striking, he’s got the grappling, he’s got the jiu-jitsu, he’s got the look, he’s got the swagger.”

Khamzat Chimaev the next big thing?

Khamzat made his debut, not even a month ago, taking on a dangerous John Phillips on July 15 at middleweight. Being born in Chechnya, Russia, he showcased his trademark grappling pedigree to dominate Phillips with ground and pound before submitting him in the second round.

He made a quick turnaround within a span of 10 days to take on Rhys McKee. This time around, he showcased even more of a dominant performance finishing McKee in the first round via brutal TKO.

UFC President Dana White already believes Chimaev is ready to take on champ Kamaru Usman as well.

Abdelaziz, the best manager in the sport!

Abdelaziz is one of the top managers in the MMA industry and is the CEO of Dominance MMA Management.

Abdelaziz’s Dominance MMA also has its outlets in talent-rich areas like Brazil under former UFC veteran Rafael Natal and Russia under Rizvan Magomedov with current featherweight Dan Ige as the manager.

Abdelaziz thus has control over especially many Russian fighters along with Khabib Nurmagomedov like Islam Makhachev, Rustam Khabilov, Omari Akhmedov, Muslim Salikhov, Abubakar Nurmagomedov, Abu Azaitar, Shamil Gamzatov, Magomed Ankalaev, Yana Kunitskaya, Said Nurmagomedov, Umar Nurmagomedov, Zubaira Tukhugov, Yana Kunitskaya and many more.
