UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is without a doubt the most dominating champion in the history of UFC. Standing at 6’4″ tall, the 31-year old champion from Rochester has compiled a record of 24-1 inside the Octagon, with his sole loss coming to Matt Hamilton back in 2009 where he was disqualified because of illegal elbows.

Jon Jones holds victories over current UFC heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier, Quinton Jackson, Ryan Bader, Chael Sonnen, Alexander Gustafsson etc. He is also known for ending championship streaks of fighters. He handed out loss to Glover Teixeira who was riding on a 20-fight winning streak. He defeated Ryan Bader and Daniel Cormier, both of whom were on a 15-fight winning streak. He also ended six-fight winning streak of multiple time UFC title challenger Alexander Gustafsson.

Jon Jones holds the record for longest win streak in UFC light heavyweight division history (thirteen), most consecutive light heavyweight title defences in UFC history (eight), most consecutive light heavyweight title bouts in UFC history (thirteen), most successful light heavyweight title defences in UFC history (nine), most submission victories in UFC light heavyweight division history (five), most wins in UFC light heavyweight division history (eighteen), youngest fighter to win a UFC championship (23 years, 242 days).

Jon Jones is all set to defend his light heavyweight title against Thiago Santos at UFC 239 in Las Vegas on July 6.
