After a successful UFC debut earlier this year against Veronica Macedo, Andrea Lee was expected to gain momentum with her second win. However, her opponent Jessica-Rose Clark was removed from their scheduled bout at UFC on FOX 31 on December 15 after being hospitalized due to her issues with the weight cut.
Former Legacy Fighting Alliance flyweight champion, “KGB”, has now been signed as a replacement to fight Ashlee Evans Smith in place of Lauren Murphy. The fight will take place on the Feb. 17 card that is expected to be the first one to be televised on ESPN.
The card takes place at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix. MMA Fighting confirmed the news with sources following a report by MyMMANews.com . Ashlee’s original opponent Murphy earlier announced that she needed more time to recover from her foot surgery.
