Andrei Arlovski uses homophobic swear words on ESPN; apologises later

The former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski has been on a downward trajectory in his career lately with a number of UFC losses and defeats piling up on his record. Arlovski has now come under more hot war for using homophobic swear words live on ESPN!

In the last three years alone, Arlovski has twice been at the wrong end of two massive five and four fight losing streaks. However, in his last and most recent outing just this past weekend at UFC on ESPN: dos Anjos vs. Edwards, Arlovski managed to finally secure a victory by defeating Big Ben Rothwell.

Arlovski after winning the fight, in his post fight interview had rather controversially celebrated his victory by using a homophobic slur. Below are his controversial remarks:

Once again I will tell everyone shut your (expletive) mouths about my ‘glass chin,’ so go f*ck yourself, fa**ots. That’s it. I proved to everyone you’re f*cking wrong.

Arlovski has now apologized for his comments in an official statement given to MMA Junkie:

I apologize to anyone I offended with my poor choice of words, I did not mean to offend anyone group or person. I am deeply sorry and will not use these type of words in the future.
