UFC: Andrei Arlovski’s reaction when asked to stripped down for weigh ins: ‘I don’t have underwear!’

The countdown to a highly anticipated and extremely stacked UFC 244 has officially begun.

Tensions were high as one by one the athletes weighed in during their early weigh-ins. However a light incident happened which bought some chuckles in the weigh-in room.Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski was on the verge of stepping on the scale (with his T-shirt off) was stopped by an official and was said to remove his socks and shorts.

A baffled Arlovski, who weighs comfortably below the 265 pound weight limit, said ‘I don’t have underwear’. Arlovski weighed in at 244 pounds so probably might not have expected to be told go remove his shorts. (via YouTube):

The New York State Athletic Commission is relatively new to the sport with MMA being legalized in New York back in November 2016. The NYSAC has been subjected to many controversies inside the octagon.

Arlovski will take on undefeated heavyweight Jairzinho Rozenstruik to kick off the preliminary card.
