35 year old ex-UFC fighter Anthony Johnson was arrested in Boca Raton, Fl on Sunday and was charged with one count of battery/domestic battery.
As described by the said victim, Johnson made his way to the apartment to talk through“an issue they had over the weekend.” The said victim claimed that they started packing Johnson’s stuff when “he came into the room and picked her up in a ‘football hold’ and carried her into another room.”
The said victim claims she was very afraid because of Johnson’s size and MMA training. The victim took her phone from Johnson, made her way to the balcony, and called 911.
Johnson was arrested and moved to Palm Beach County Jail without any further difficulty. He was charged with domestic battery. Johnson was then released on the condition that he is present for the timely court hearings.
According to Johnson, the said victim apparently followed him into the room to carry on the argument. Johnson mentioned that he asked her to leave him be and to stop talking to him, but it was of no use. Johnson admits that he picked the said victim up and moved the victim to a different room only “to get her away from him.”
