Anthony Pettis is not happy with how the UFC is treating his brother, Sergio Pettis. The former UFC champion revealed the same during his recent appearance on the Ariel Helwani MMA Show.
Sergio is set to fight Jussier Formiga at UFC 229 in Las Vegas on October 6, 2018. However, Sergio only managed to find a place in the undercard of the pay-per-view.
“UFC, I don’t know what Sergio has to do to get on the main card. He’s No. 2 in the world fighting No. 5 or No. 6 in the world and they are fighting on the undercard. Show the kid some respect, he’s busting his ass, and I see how hard he’s working. It’s kind of offensive to see him on the undercard,” Anthony noted on the show. (via MMA Mania)
Sergio currently holds a professional record of 17-3 to his name. He is also coming off a win against Joseph Benavidez.
