Anthony Snith is unsure if Wilder will ever beat Fury.

Tyson Fury defeated Deontay Wilder via technical knockout. The Gypsy King was battering Wilder for the first seven rounds when Wilder’s corner threw in the towel.

Tyson Fury started attacking Deontay Wilder right from the beginning. He was hurting Wilder with his power shots and keeping him at bay with his jabs.

In the last minute of the third round, Fury let his right hand lose which caught Wilder on the temple. This punch dropped Wilder and perhaps also set the pace of the fight as he was never able to recover from this shot. He went down again, but the referee called it a slip.

None the less, the battering continued in the later rounds. In the fifth, Wilder went down again. Wilder’s leg were gone as Fury started unloading his combinations. The referee also deducted one-point from Fury for holding Wilder for excessive holding.

In the seventh, as Fury was unloading his combination, Wilder’s corner had seen enough and waved off the towel. After which the referee stepped in to stop the fight.

Anthony Smith doesn’t think Wilder will ever beat Tyson Fury

Former UFC light heavywwight title challenger Anthony Smith doesn’t think Deontay Wilder will ever beat Fury. On his podcast,’MMA Tonight on Sirius XM’.

I will tell you Deontay Wilder has no shot ever to beat Tyson Fury,” Smith said. “I’m a fan and I love his mentality. I love the way he fights, I love everything Deontay Wilder stands for. He can’t beat Tyson Fury.

From the outside [Wilder] looks emotionally exhausted in some of those interviews but Tyson Fury can fight several different ways,” Smith said. “Now that he’s found a way to beat Deontay [Wilder], it wasn’t even close, I wouldn’t even call that a competition. It just looked like Deontay Wilder didn’t belong in there with Tyson Fury. I hate to say that. It hurts to say that because I love Deontay Wilder as a boxer, as a person, as a fighter, I love everything about him. He’s just not going to beat Tyson Fury, there’s too many holes.” (h/t –
