Arsenba Ozukum is excited and confident ahead of his Pro Debut at Matrix Fight Night 9

Arsenba Ozukum who won the Bronze medal in striking MMA at the GAMMA World MMA Championship and a Gold medal at the GAMMA Nationals is making his professional debut against Biswamitra Mayanglambam at Matrix Fight Night 9 taking place at Siri Fort on June 24th in New Delhi. Training out of TCA Nagaland, Arsenba Ozukum is one of the most highly touted fighters in the country. Having multiple national titles and international medals as an amateur, it was only a moment of time before he was discovered by promoters to transition to professional MMA.

Ahead of his professional debut, the MMA India Show had the opportunity to chat with Arsenba and talk about his debut and his ambitions in the sport of MMA.

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH ARSENBA OZUKUM 

How are you feeling ahead of your professional Debut?

This will be my first professional debut in mfn9 and I’m so excited for the fight with Bishwamitra.

What do you know about your opponent Bishwamitra Mayanglambam?

In my amateur circuit, I wanted to fight him but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to fight him. I’m so glad that I will be fighting Bishwamitra in my Pro debut.

Are you nervous ahead of your Pro Debut?

No, I am not.

How did your fight camp go?

My fight camp went so well I’m ready for 15 minutes I’m super excited and confident for my pro debut.
