Kingdom of Bahrain is set as the venue for Brave International Combat Week which will feature IMMAF World Championships of Amateur MMA on 2018 and 2019. IMMAF President Kerrith Brown signed the contracts for the 2018 & 2019 IMMAF World Championships during the press conference hosted in Bahrain. The 2018 and 2019 World Championships of Amateur MMA will be a part of the Brave International Combat Week hosted in Bahrain.
In the previous edition of Brave International Combat Week, Bahrain witnessed athletes from 51 nations taking part in the event. The current edition of the World Championships will be hosted during the 2018 Brave International Combat Week and is expected participation from over 102 nations around the world. The edition will also feature a mega fight card from Brave Combat Federation featuring the top international fighters. The event in 2018 will mark the second time Bahrain is hosting the IMMAF World Championships.
