One of the most important cards in the history of Bellator MMA organization in Bellator 200 marked the return of their superstar Michael ‘Venom’ Page after almost 18 months.
With his undefeated status and an impressive nine-fight win streak with the organization, MMA community were expecting Page to finally go for Bellator’s welterweight strap. However that might take some time as Page is set to take his second professional boxing fight on June 15, just three weeks after his victory over Dave Rickels at Bellator 200. His opponent is yet to be declared.
Page has always admitted that he wants to pursue boxing alongside his MMA career. During his time off from MMA, he made his boxing debut back in October 2017 where he dominated Jonathan Castano via round three TKO.
The event will take place at York Hall, Bethnal Green in London where Joe Joyce will put his Commonwealth heavyweight title on the line for the first time.
The event will be promoted by David Haye and Richard Schaefer on behalf of Hayemaker Ringstar.
