The biggest fight in the history of UFC took place earlier this month on Oct. 6 between Irish superstar Conor McGregor and Russian star Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Khabib Nurmagomedov (27-0) successfully defended his UFC lightweight championship against Conor McGregor (21-4) via fourth-round submission in the main event of UFC 229 from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The Eagle after his submission win, jumped through the cage and launching himself into the crowd. His intended target was Dillon Danis.
However, before the fight, Dillon Danis had said that he was helping Conor McGregor prepare for Khabib’s takedown skills. A few months back, Dillon appeared on Ariel Helwani’s MMA show where he said:
“On the ground he’s alright. He’s not really a passer. You don’t really see him passing in the guard too much. His wrestling is really good. But, in my opinion, if you put Conor and Khabib in a grappling match, I think a lot of people would be surprised. I think Conor could beat him in a grappling match. I’m talking about ADCC match or IBJF. Conor pulls guard, Khabib’s not going to do anything to him.”
But the reality turned out to be completely different and UFC’s newest signing took his moment to mock Dillon Danis on Twitter about his average wrestling skills helping Conor prepare for Khabib.
It all started after Dillon mocked Ben Askren:

Askren almost immediately fired back mocking his wrestling skills:
My personal favorite stupid thing you have said was that your average HS wrestling background would prepare Conor for @TeamKhabib !!! Lololol that worked out really well. Great job Dillon https://t.co/K1RvumqJY2

Ben Askren was traded to UFC by ONE in return for Demetrious Johnson, he still hasn’t got a fight scheduled yet.
