Ben Askren has been quite outspoken since he was traded into the UFC in exchange of Demetrious Johnson. His latest target? Conor McGregor. Unfortunately for Askren, McGregor is not the type of person who takes challenges lying down. The ‘Notorious’ Conor McGregor had a response for Askren as well.
Ben Askren’s first fight in the UFC is fixed for UFC 233. Askren will face former UFC Welterweight Champion Robbie Lawler at UFC 233 on the 26th of January, 2019.
Following Max Holloway’s win, Chael Sonnen paid Connor McGregor a compliment. Seeing that Holloway had an incredible victory, Sonnen reminded everyone that Conor McGregor was the last person to defeat Max Holloway.
Which makes you wonder, just how good is Conor McGregor..?

Ben Askren replied to this tweet, taking it quite literally. He said that Conor McGregor had been much better before he started to advertise Proper Whiskey in each of his tweets. He also took a dig at McGregor’s training regimen saying that McGregor had been better when he actually liked to train for his fights.
Was much better before every tweet was about Proper 12 and he actually liked to train. https://t.co/0qdgdXvD8x

Conor McGregor is not really a person to take things lying down. He had a humorous reply ready for Ben Askren ready. He made his reply into yet another advertisement for his Proper Whiskey, saying that it was tasty before going into baby talk.
But it’s so tasty it makes me rub my belly and go yum yum.
And sometimes nom nom too. https://t.co/zlFufbDHVA— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) December 9, 2018
Could there be the start of a feud here?
