In a special no-gi match held at Spyder Invitational BJJ Championship, veteran UFC fighter Benson Henderson defeated legendary Brazilian JiuJitsu blackbelt, Eduardo Telles. The stylistically intriguing matchup showcased a collision between Henderson elite wrestling and Eduardo’s black belt level unorthodox bottom game.

Benson Henderson is a former UFC Lightweight Champion and WEC Lightweight Champion and is currently part of the Bellator MMA lightweight roster. Henderson is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt under his long-time coach John Crouch. He recently submitted the returning Bellator veteran Roger Huerta in the main event at Bellator 196 in the second round.

Eduardo Telles, who has several trademark BJJ set us to his name is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Fabio Gurgel and one of the most creative grapplers in the World.  Henderson has yet again established that his BJJ game is as elite as his wrestling after this triumph against a legend like Eduardo.
