We have just been treated to the first press conference for the upcoming boxing match between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz, and while there was no lack of drama, one incident from the presser that has stood out is making the headlines.
I think I’d beat his fu*kin a*s: BETR Reporter tells Nate DIaz he wants to box Nick
During the conference, a reporter from BETR, a gambling platform co-owned by Jake Paul, dropped some words on Nick Diaz, Nate’s older brother and one of the most legendary names in combat sports.
“Nate, I’m actually a boxer myself and I’ve been trying to get into this undercard. I am just wondering if you think I could fight your brother Nick? If he’s anything like you, I think I’d beat his fu*kin a*s,” the reporter named Derek Sullivan told Nate.
Needless to say, the younger Diaz sibling was unamused at Derek’s words and went on to slam the reporter, as well as reminding him that his team is already in attendance at the presser.
“Brother, what are you just gonna walk around the streets or some sh*t? You know all my homeboys see you right now? That was stupid…Yeah, that was stupid…Hey Derek from Betr Media, stupid a*s motherf***er,” Nate responded.
A 50-second clip of the conversation between Derek and Nate was shared on Twitter by Chamatkar Sandhu.
“I think Derek from BETR media just got fired (by Jake Paul) and if I’m him I’m getting the hell out of there now before Diaz’s crew finds him. Modern day media members be acting like fools for real,” Sandhu wrote.
