Bobby Green posts retirement video on Instagram after UD loss to Drakkar Klose

UFC lightweight veteran Bobby Green has opted out for retirement after an unanimous decision loss to Drakkar Klose this weekend at UFC Milwaukee.

Bobby announced his retirement from MMA via an Instagram video just after the fight.The veteran had previously fought for King of the Cage,Strikeforce,Tachi Palace Fights and Affliction.He was a lightweight and a junior welterweight champ in King of the Cage.Bobby is currently 32 years of age but a lot of injury related incidents have previously made him pull back from a lot of  high profile fights in his career.

The California resident who is (24-9-1) in his professional career went through his career highs on beating the likes of Josh Thompson, Pat Healy, James Krause, Daron Cruickshank, and Charles Bennett.

“It is an interesting world we live in,” said Green. “I felt I won but when we got these judges, you know. I think I’m done. I think I’m done. I’m going to retire. I’m going to focus on my kids. Focus on their upbringing. We give a lot of time away for this sport from my family. I’m done. Thank you all for supporting me. I retire.”

“I don’t have to deal with the f***ing judges or deal with some of the lifestyle that comes with this,” he continued. “Thank you all for your support. I will be deleting all my social media, and I’m done. But thank you so much. I hope I inspired someone to do some thing. It’s an honor and a blessing to have done this. Love you“.
