Tonight’s UFC Vegas 105 event brought the Octagon back to Nevada, and four participants ended up receiving performance bonuses.
Josh Emmett vs. Lerone Murphy, a major men’s featherweight match, was the main event on the fight bill. The fight turned out to be yet another outstanding performance for “The Miracle.” While busting up his front leg with some sly sidekicks and calf kicks, Murphy was able to use his speed and agility to keep Emmett guessing. Even though Josh Emmett landed some good right punches, Lerone Murphy outperformed him for the most part of their 25-minute fight, and the British fighter was properly awarded the decision victory.
The men’s featherweight match between Pat Sabatini and Joanderson Brito was the co-main event of UFC Vegas 105. Sabatini, a native of Pennsylvania, gave a completely dominant performance in the game. The American punished Brito with some ground and pound while using his excellent grappling skills to smother and control his Brazilian opponent for the vast portion of the battle.
At the post-fight news conference after tonight’s bout, UFC executives declared that four combatants will receive performance bonuses.
