Speaking to ESPN, Joseph Parker has revealed his pick for the Deontay Wilder vs. Luis Ortiz fight.
Additionally, Parker also weighed in on the Dillian Whyte vs. Lucas Browne fight which takes place on the night Parker fights Anthony Joshua.
Joseph Parker is set to fight Anthony Joshua with the former’s WBO title and Joshua’s IBF, IBO and WBA (Super) titles on the line, on March 31st.
Parker vs. Joshua takes place at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales on March 31st.
Joseph Parker stated the following on Deontay Wilder vs. Luis Ortiz—
“My prediction is seeing Deontay Wilder coming out on top. But he has to be wary because Ortiz is dangerous in the first half of the fight. I think it’s a great fight for him. He’s one of the best fighters in the division and it’s a big, tough challenging fight for him at the right time. But I think Wilder will just have too much and he will be the one to come out on top.”
Parker also opened up on Whyte vs. Browne—
“I might be leaning towards Lucas Browne, but Dillian Whyte’s a fighter who can cause a big upset as he’s a fighter who throws big punches and combinations. It’s a 50-50 fight for me.”
