Joseph Parker’s upcoming clash with Anthony Joshua has been scheduled to air on Showtime in the US.
Apparently, the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Showtime Sports, Stephen Espinoza has confirmed the same.
The reigning IBF, IBO and WBA (Super) Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua is set to face WBO Heavyweight titlist Joseph Parker.
Joshua is considered to be one of, if not the, top Heavyweight pugilists in the world today. On the other hand, Parker is regarded as one of the divisional elite and the dark horse of the division.
Showtime exec Stephen Espinoza issued a statement on the network airing the highly-awaited Anthony Joshua vs. Joseph Parker fight—
“The heavyweight division is in the midst of a renaissance, and Showtime is delivering all of the pivotal bouts to our subscribers.”
“Anthony Joshua is a global superstar, and we’re proud to present his sixth, and perhaps most challenging, world title fight to the U.S. audience. Joshua vs Parker will be the 12th heavyweight world championship match on Showtime since Deontay Wilder won his title in 2015, an undisputed industry-leading offering in boxing’s preeminent division.”
Joshua is coming off a late-stoppage victory over perennial contender Carlos Takam, and is heavily favored in the upcoming matchup against Parker.
Anthony Joshua vs. Joseph Parker takes place at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales on March 31st.

Joshua may very well be the best Heavyweight boxer in the world today, however, after his war of attrition against a version of Wladimir Klitschko—who many opine was well past his prime while facing AJ—experts believe that Parker may be an even tougher matchup for Joshua than the aforementioned Klitschko.
Parker’s coaches claim that he’s never been knocked down or out as a pro—be it sparring or competition.
That in turn has served to pique significant fan-interest in the Joshua vs. Parker matchup.
