UFC 229 was indeed a night to remember for two main reasons. The reasons being Khabib’s victory over Conor McGregor and the brawl that happened after the fight.
As right after the victory Khabib’ The Eagle’ Nurmagomedov jumped over the octagon and attacked Dillon Danis( Conor’s Jiu-jitsu coach). Moments later, 3 members of Khabib’s Team jumped inside the octagon and attacked Conor.
Like many fans and fighters, Tony Bellew (British Professional Boxer) also expressed his views on UFC 229 post-fight melee.
Bellew expressed his views in a series of tweets. Bellew tweeted,
”Khabib is a disgrace and so are his team!! Dogs and cowards his team are for trying to steal it on Connor! Truly disgusting and I hope Khabib and his people are banned for this! Disgraceful…”

He also tweeted,
”Connor lost the fight fair and square yes. Not a chance in the world he deserves to be attacked by 2 men! One in front and one from behind! Both bare knuckle after he’s just been fighting for 20 mins anyway! It’s a disgrace! People bringing up the bus incident? No comparison!”

Khabib Nurmagomedov is expected to face suspension from Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC). Dana White also said that Khabib will probably get stripped if it’s a long suspension.
