With a clear strategy of taking the fight to the ground, Satya didn’t take long to take down Sarabjit with his masterful technique in the first round. He held the top position most of the time as Sarabjit struggled to reverse and neutralize any offense from the Bali MMA team fighter. As the fight went into the second and third round Satya continued his dominance giving little room for Sarabjit. They exchanged some strikes which led to a cut on Satya’s forehead but that didn’t deter him from executing the ground game and taking advantage of the position Satya wrapped a triangle and ended the fight.

Indian fighter Bankura kicked off the first round with a wild and tenacious effort to floor Oloan. With every wild over hand rights that couldn’t find their target, Bankura looked lost. Oloan only had smiles as he swayed away from the looping over hand rights. A close pocket exchange saw both the fighters land heavy leather. Oloan’s punch connects and Bankura begins to bleed. Bankura comes back with his own counter punch and drops Oloan to his knees, but could not capitalize the situation. Oloan recovered quickly and retaliated with his crisp striking that sent Bankura to the ground and curled up. Oloan began unleashig heavy bombs from the top and the referee had seen enough and steps in to stop the fight.

Within the early seconds of the first round, Nidhin went in for a takedown as he knew the striking of Farhad could put him tight spots early. Farhad struggled from the bottom and resorted to using his feet to push away, Referee Mark Goddard had to step in to break away the fighters. Nidhin continued with his game plan to take Farhad on the ground and dominate. As the second round began, Farhad began using his hands and landed strikes that got Nidhin’s attention. Both the fighters looks gassed, but Farhad dug deep inside and began landing strikes. A looping left hook sent Nidhin wobbly and covered up against the cage. Farhad continued to pour in more strikes and referee stepped in to stop the onslaught.

The Indian Beast was no match for Vyas as he dominated the fight right from the start and put on a beautiful performance. Vyas gave too much time and space for Bisht to land strikes. Bisht grew confident with every strike and easily took vyas down. There was a huge difference in their technique and experience as Bisht transitioned to a full mount and began dropping countless punches as Vyas curled up. With no defense from Vyas, referee stepped in and stopped the fight with 1:47 secs remaining

Rob Beech defeated Mandeep Singh via Verbal Submission in Round 1

In the last fight of the prelims, heavyweights from India and the UK collided in a fight that lasted just under three minutes. Mandeep Singh quickly took Rob Beech to the ground as he caught the switch kick from the British heavyweight. Mandeep secured a top position but it didn’t last long and Rob reversed to turn the fight around. Confusion ensued as referee stepped in to stop the fight. Later it was revealed Mandeep had verbally tapped.

Stepping in as a replacement for Abdul Muneer on a short notice, Nelson had very little time to prepare. Paes had a clear fight strategy – knock Qaisi out quickly and end the fight. But Qaisi proved to be a formidable foe, whose ground defense and submission game got him a first round win. Paes shot for a takedown, which Qaisi tried to defend and ended up on the top position. Paes made a slick attempt and reversed the position but Qaisi got hold of him and pulled an arm bar with a minute left in the fist round.

The Brazilian BJJ specialist Maria surprised everyone with her striking as she finished her Italian opponent Micol with 1:10 secs left in the first round. Micol initiated the exchange and was finding her rhythm as she made Maria miss her shots. With a clear height and reach advantage, Maria started to find her range and let her hands loose. She backed Micol to the cage and began lighting her up like a christmas tree. Micol looked stunned and unable to protect herself, referee stepped in to stop the fight.

Jalal Al Daaja Defeated Kantharaj Shankar via TKO in Round 2

The undefeated Indian sensation Kantharaj was a clear heavy favourite over the Jordanian Jalal in this bantamweight clash. He began displaying his ground skills with a quick takedown attempt which he eventually succeeded in through clinch against the cage. Jalal was defending his position intelligently but the brute power of Kantharaj was no match. Jalal got picked up and slammed to the mat but the Jordanian kept his cool. The heavy grappling exchange left both the fighters expend a lot of energy as Kantharaj looked more tired and gassed out. In the second round, Kantharaj got his second takedown but could not hold Jalal who quickly got back up. In the clinch and with his back now to the cage, Jalal landed a slick knee to Kantharaj’s chin and instantly dropped him to the mat and followed up with strikes to end the fight.

Anas Siraj Mounir Defeated John Brewin via Unanimous Decision

The co-main event fight between lightweights Mounir and Brewin was nothing short of  spectacle as both the fighters engaged in a back and forth action for full three rounds. Mounir’s early trip takedown resulted in Brewin ending on the top position, but the Team Nogueira fighter quickly got back to his feet. Mounir’s striking got better with each passing minute as he landed shots on the button and staggered Brewin multiple times. Mounir made good use of knees in the clinch and got Brewin pinned to the cage neutralizing the New Zealander’s offense. A right hook from Mounir landed on Brewin’s left temple causing him to bleed but the lanky Bali MMA fighter continued his take down attempts. A hard fought win for Mounir who is now on a four fight win streak.

Khamzat Chimaev Defeated Sidney Wheeler via TKO

With a short fight notice and much less experience, Khamzat stepped into the cage against the American Sydney Wheeler. And much to everyone’s surprise, Khamzat just needed 30 secs to dismantle Wheeler with his ground and pound. Wheeler didn’t expect a quick takedown from Khamzat and was struggling to defend it once being taken down. Khamzat got the back positing and started dropping bombs as Wheeler curled up in a fetal position unable to defend submitted by tapping out. This is Khamzat’s second win in Brave CF in just over 30 days.
