MMA fans are all set to get the most awaited fight of the featherweight division as Holloway (19-3 MMA, 15-3 UFC) and Ortega (14-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) are supposed meet at UFC 231, which will take place this weekend at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Max Holloway was scheduled to defend his UFC Featherweight title against Brian Ortega at UFC 226 in Las Vegas on the undercard of the super fight between Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier. However, things didn’t go as planned and Holloway had to pull out of the card following his health scare and he had to be hospitalized.

However, now that the fight is finally happening, Ortega has gone a step further and outlined his future plans and said that he wants to fight current UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
“This is a matchup where our hands are both good,” Ortega told reporters, at a Monday media lunch in Los Angeles. “He’s a top-game guy and a wrestler, and I’m a bottom-game guy, and I’m a jiu-jitsu guy. I’d watch.”
After Ortega saw Khabib dismantle McGregor, it intrigued him to fight Khabib.
“I was watching a lot of things in that fight, where if I was in that position, I was like, ‘There’s a lot of things I would be doing differently,’ and that kind of just made me realize what I want as a super fight, if I ever get there – and it’s within reach,” Ortega said. “If I play my cards right, it’s within reach.”
How do you guys see Ortega performing against the likes of Khabib?
