It is worth noting that Lesnar was suspended for one year after testing positive for Performance Enhancing Drugs (PEDs) and was fined $2,50,000 by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) after his fight with Mark Hunt which was overturned to a No Contest at UFC 200 in July 2016.

The earliest Brock can fight in the UFC is after January 8, 2019 due to the four month mandatory testing rule issued by USADA.

Brock Lesnar was revealed as the next title contender after Daniel Cormier defeated Stipe Miocic to win the UFC Heavyweight Championship at UFC 226 where he was called inside the octagon and had a face off with Cormier which resulted in a shoving match. There is no update on when the much awaited fight would take place as of yet.
