Eddie Alvarez has been under the radar of Bellator MMA for quite some time now. However, no major moves have been made so far by the promotion.
Chael Sonnen has now entered the mix. He apparently wants Bellator to speed up the signing process of Alvarez and issued an ultimatum on Twitter. He said that he will quit Bellator if the promotion does not sign Alvarez.
The seriousness of this threat, however, is questionable. Sonnen is known for his quirky sense of humour and some days back, UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov had said that he will quit the UFC if UFC fires one of his teammates.
The tweet from Sonnen could be his way of mocking Khabib or he could be genuinely interested in getting Alvarez into Bellator. Either way, you can see the tweet from Sonnen below.

The 34-year-old Eddie Alvarez is currently 29-6 in his career. He is coming off a loss against Dustin Poirier and had secured a win over Justin Gaethje prior to this. Alvarez has been also linked with a move to ONE Championship.
