Conor McGregor vs Charles Oliveira is the latest verbal clash that has been making headlines in the mixed martial arts scene- and after both fighters have taken shots at one another, the latest jeer comes from the Brazilian- who has mocked his Irish counterpart over deletion of tweets.

It all started with “Do Bronx” citing his opinion on McGregor’s much-awaited comeback fight against Michael Chandler.

“I don’t think he’s going to win,” said Oliveira, “I mean, he’s a guy that sells. He’s great to promote, and people love his fights, but I don’t think he’s going to win. So [I don’t have to deal with it].”

“Yeah, I believe Chandler is an explosive fighter. McGregor hasn’t fought in a long time, so I believe Chandler is going to win,” the former 155-pound champ added.

Oliveria’s words were expected to generate a fiery response from “The Notorious”, and the Irishman wasted no time in taking it to Twitter to voice his rebuttals, in a series of now deleted tweets.

“Charles Oliveira shut your pie hole.”

“2-0 [against Brazilian fighters].”

“Actually 3-0 because Rda s*** a brick.”

These were the tweets McGregor wrote before deleting them.

Oliveira, meanwhile, took the shot at McGregor deleting his responses, as he responded with a short clip of himself laughing while in a pool.

“Can’t keep a simple tweet (you deleted Conor). Chandler will mop you,” wrote Oliveira.

While McGregor and Oliveira continue their verbal spat, fans have been calling for a matchup between the two Lightweight legends for quite some time. While he was the lightweight champ, Oliveira even expressed the idea of fighting McGregor instead of Islam Makhachev, who is the current titleholder.
