Today in the main event of UFC on ESPN 6 which took place at the TD Garden Arena in Boston, former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman made his light heavyweight debut as he took on Dominick Reyes.
However, his light heavyweight debut didn’t go as planned as the former champion lost the fight in the very first round via knockout. Chris Weidman has only won 1 of his last 5 fights in the UFC with 4 of them coming via a way of stoppage.
After the loss, Weidman said that he would be back to the Octagon stronger than ever.

“Well props to Dom Reyes. Thanks you guys, to everyone for coming out. Everyone that came here to support me I apologize I didn’t get the W. It’s the game we play. I’ll be back better. God is good, even in this adversity. He’s good. All good.” Weidman said.
On the other hand, Dominick Reyes maintained his undefeated record and is currently riding on a 12-fight winning streak with six of them being in the UFC. He has defeated Volkan Oezdemir, Ovince St.Preux and Jared Cannonier before that.
Do you guys think Chris Weidman should fight again? Or do you guys want to see him retire?
