Coach Khriemelie Metha gives update on Arsenba Ozukum’s injury

The Combat Academy Head Coach Khriemelie Metha took to social media to give an update on the extent of Arsenba Ozukum’s injury. Arsenba’s nose had multiple fractures with bone chipping on the right side. He also had a reconstructive surgery for his nose.

At the end of the 2nd round as Arsen walked back to the corner it was clear that his nose was not in good shape. Broken noses are common in combat, I felt this wasn’t just another simple break. As his corner I called off the fight at the end of the 2nd round.
Arsen’s nose had multiple fractures with bone chipping on the right side. He has just come out of reconstructive surgery for his nose. Good or bad this is the life we have chosen, this is why we get paid as professional athletes. Big thanks to @mfn_mma @ayeshashroff @alanfenandes. The insurance and fighter purse through them has made this so much easier. Thank you Dr @along_konyak, he has been an avid supporter of ours from day one and whose conviction gave us the confidence to get this treated here at home. Thank you for all the love and support, always grateful 🙇‍♂️. Long way before we sleep, bigger and better things await @tcanagaland,” Khriemelie Metha posted on his Instagram account.

The MMA India Show wishes Arsenba Ozukum a speedy recovery.
