UFC Fight Night 139 didn’t go as planned for Mike Perry as he lost to Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone in the first round via submission. The most anticipated welterweight matchup between Mike Perry and Donald Cerrone was the co-headliner and ended when Perry got caught in an armbar.
This win was Donald Cerrone’s 21st win in the UFC. With this win, Cerrone broke the record for the most wins in UFC which he previously shared with Georges St-Pierre and Michael Bisping.
Still, with a loss, Mike Perry showed his class and congratulated Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone for the win, also mentioning that Cowboy broke his ‘damn arm’.
But a Welterweight fighter does not seem impressed by either one of them. Colby ‘Chaos’ Covington in his recent tweet mocked both Mike Perry and Donald Cerrone.
In the tweet, Colby Covington called Cowboy a ‘lightweight jobber‘.
He also said that Mike Perry is still not ready for prime time, as this fight of Mike Perry was the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 139.
Colby Covington tweeted,
“Hahahaha @PlatinumPerry just got submitted by a lightweight jobber!! Back to the Indian Casinos Junior! You ain’t ready for prime time!! #ufcdenver #ufc25years #BringBackHorseFace ”
