Interim welterweight champion Colby Covington has made a lot foes in his mixed martial arts career. Whether it was having a word on racism with Jon Jones, or getting hit by a boomerang by Fabricio Werdum, or the latest – having a live television war of words with Michael Bisping, Colby has done it all. However of the peole who are always high in his regards, U.S. President Donald Trump pretty much tops the list.
In the past, Colby has brought out comparisons between him being an underdog in his fight against Rafael Dos Anjos, to Trump being an underdog in the U.S. presidetial elections. He had vowed to take his interim gold to the White House. On the occasion of Trump’s birthday, Colby didn’t hesitate in wishing the President and appreciating his efforts in making his country great again.
