If there’s anyone in the UFC who has been living up to every inch of his name, it’s surely Colby “Chaos” Covington. Let alone his own division, Covington has been running all over the place and grabbing attention from people in all weight classes. This time Colby took time out to throw shade at his “alleged” collegemate Jon Jones.
Considering that Jones vs Smith scheduled for UFC 235 is less than three weeks away, UFC uploaded a video on its Twitter account hyping the same.
1️⃣7️⃣ DAYS!

Surprisingly enough, Covington showed up in the comments section to talk about Jones ongoing struggle with steroid abuse allegations.
Hey @JonnyBones. Nobody’s looking. Go snort a few picograms.

However, if Jones opponent Anthony Smith said last month that he doesn’t care about Jones’ ongoing issues, he indeed meant it. “Lionheart” wants the fans to focus on nothing else but the fight that is coming up. He even took to Twitter to reply to Covington’s comments.
🙄 its played out, Colby. Its not funny anymore. Stop throwing shade at my fight. Also, I heard you have a issue with me getting a title fight… next time I see you, we should talk about that. Or you gonna tuck your tail and hide in the corner of the gym like you did in Chicago?

It still remains unclear as to which meeting between the two Smith was referring to. However what is worthy of a praise is the fact that Smith is focusing on nothing other than his in-ring Octagon performance.
