The UFC 229 showdown between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov is still the biggest talking point in the MMA circles. A lot of fighters and fans have voiced their opinion on the whole saga and the latest name to this list is Colby Covington.

Colby Covington took a shot at Khabib Nurmagomedov on Twitter (PC: UFC.COM)

The UFC Welterweight star held nothing back while blasting Khabib on Twitter. He went on to blame Khabib and his team for setting the sport back 20 years and added in a racial jab as well.

For the uninitiated, Covington is referring to the post-fight brawl which took place at UFC 229. Khabib had jumped cage to attack McGregor’s teammates after the fight and it had led to an all-out brawl which resulted in multiple arrests.

A lot of fans have turned on Khabib for these actions although he apologized in the post-fight press conference. The punishment for Khabib is yet to be announced and it would be interesting to see how it goes.
