UFC 235 has added another world title fight as UFC welterweight champion Tyron ‘The Chosen One’ Woodley will defend his title against another top contender in his division Kamaru ‘Nigerian Nightmare’ Usman at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on 2nd March.

Although, it was former interim champion Colby Covington who was supposed to fight for the title considering he has beaten Rafael Dos Anjos and Demain Maia before Usman did.

But Covington seemed to have been sidelined by UFC president Dana White. However, he is willing to accept a proposed fight with former division title challenger Darren Till but under one condition.

“They can get me to fight whoever but they’re going to have to give me undisputed championship pay,” Colby Covington told MMAWeekly on Monday. “I’m not going to go backwards. I was promised an undisputed title shot and undisputed pay, I’m not fighting for anything less than undisputed pay. I’m not going to fight for less money. They want me to fight Darren Till? Fine, no big deal, I’ll fight him but I’m getting my undisputed championship title fight pay to fight him.”

“I’m told the UFC is looking to book a welterweight fight between Colby Covington and Darren Till for #UFCLondon on March 16. Covington has recently stated that he will hold out for his promised title shot, so we shall see what happens.
