Artem Lobov (13-14-1 MMA, 2-4 UFC) who is about to fight Michael Johnson at UFC Fight Night 138 expressed his thoughts on his friend and teammate Conor Mcgregor at the media day for UFC Fight Night 138.
Artem Lobov said, “I think that’s the fight that makes sense. He has made everyone in the UFC, including Khabib, a lot more money than they ever have made, so why not give him this?”
Calling Conor a real man, Artem added, “He’s been the guy that always took everybody on. There have been many changes of opponents for him. He never blinked an eyelid, just took the fights. No problem. Never pulled out in his life. A true fighter. A fighter’s fighter. A real man. So give him the fight.”
Artem told the media that Khabib is not an easy opponent and the fight will require a good camp.
Artem said, “And of course, it requires a good camp, it’s not an easy opponent. There were a lot of mistakes made. Many things need to be corrected. So there’s no need to rush.”
Artem also told the media that he will still fight Johnson in case Michael Johnson fails to make weight.
