UFC superstar Conor McGregor after his leg surgery has said that he feels like that the titanium shin bone has made him unbreakable and he thinks of himself as the Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator 2.
Conor Mcgregor last fought at UFC 264 against his arch-rival Dustin Poirier in their trilogy fight with the series at that time being leveled at 1-1. The round one was a dominant one for Dustin Poirier who took Conor down and mauled him on the ground and landed some vicious ground and pound shots. By the end of the first round, Conor and Dustin both tried to throw punches but missed, during that exchanged Conor stepped back and his foot snapped in half and broke. The Doctor was called in who waved off the fight declaring Dustin as the winner of the fight via TKO due to doctor stoppage.
After his surgery, he took to the media to inform his fans about his health.
“Just out of the surgery room guys! Surgery went excellent! Feeling tremendous! 6 weeks on crutch and we build back! Let’s go! God bless”
Now after completing his surgery and getting a titanium bone installed in him Conor Mcgregor is feeling unbreakable.

“They said I am going in and getting exactly what I needed. And what I needed was a titanium shin bone. So now I’ve got a titanium rod going down the knee from the knee to my ankle. And the doctor said it is ‘unbreakable’. So once I build back the, well, first of all, I need to manage the incision. The cut. You know, make sure it doesn’t get infected. Keep the health on it. Keep building back that way.
“Then I’ll start playing with the balance and learning how to stand on it again. Then I will learn the balance on a single leg again. The I’ll build the strength. And then I’ve got an unbreakable titanium leg. I’m like, I was talking to my physiotherapist, who was with Arnold Schwarzenegger, and I was saying I am like Arnie in Terminator 2. You know what I mean? This is how I cruise around the Cali streets haha.”
Conor is already back in the gym and is doing some upper body workouts to be in shape. According to Mcgregor, he will be back in the octagon in 2022.
