Former UFC double champion Conor McGregor has made his presence in court for the third time as he faces additional charges for careless driving, aside from the six driving offences already in his name relating to an incident that took place in March.
McGregor was arrested by Irish police on 22nd March after reckless driving in his Bentley Continental GT on the N4/M50 interchange in Lucan, west Dublin. He appeared in court for the first time back on 7th April on two counts of alleged dangerous driving, allegedly failing to produce a licence, driving without a licence and insurance as well as allegedly failing to produce said items within ten days of the alleged incident.
He once again appeared in the court in June and for the third time, reached the Blanchardstown District Court in West Dublin on Friday morning in a black Mercedes. The case has now been pushed back to 24th November while ‘The Notorious’ remains on bail.
The former UFC Featherweight and Lightweight champ is also involved in the shoot for his silver screen debut with the remake of 1989 cult classic Road House starring Jake Gyllenhal and its still debatable whether the new court date will affect his shooting schedule.
“Just off to shoot this film now. Going to be a lot of fun,” said the 33-year-old MMA superstar as he left the court.
