Conor McGregor cheers for the Dallas Cowboys before their game

After suffering the biggest loss of his mixed martial arts career Mcgregor travelled far and wide to promote his brand of whiskey Proper 12. The most notable ones among them was a trip to the most marketable team in the NFL, the Dallas Cowboys. Since the visit  the bromance has been brewing steadily amongst the two.

On Sunday night, McGregor’s beloved Cowboys were playing in the late game against Seattle Seahawks as they hoped to progress from the Wildcard Round of the Playoffs with a date against either the Los Angeles Rams or New Orleans Saints next weekend waiting for them if they were victorious.

And it eventually planned out all good for the Cowboys. Riding on Dak Prescott’s form, they defeated the Seattle in a tense 24-22 victory, which confirmed their meeting with New Orleans. And the Cowboys wasted no time in inviting Mcgregor to Nola. Mcgregor also did not disappoint them.

With the new year rolling around it will be interesting to see what the future holds for MMA’s most marketable figure. While Dana White has talked about a potential rematch with Khabib, Mcgregor has himself recently challenged kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa to a mixed martial arts fight.
