Conor McGregor says Kamaru Usman is copying his style

Conor McGregor feels Kamaru Usman is copying his style

Former two-division champion Conor Mcgregor has taken a jab at UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman stating that Usman is still trying to copy Conor Mcgregor. This feud between Usman and Mcgregor has lots of stories in it. The duo has engaged in various social media battles and has called out to each other several times and has done a lot of trash talk between them. One of their disputes is due to Usman saying similar things to what Conor has already said in his UFC fight interviews.

Taking to his social media stores this week, McGregor poked fun at Usman for trying to copy his style. Take a look at what McGregor shared this week (h/t MMANews.com).

“Usman wants to do the same thing with Canelo like Conor did with Floyd,” the caption reads. Conor also used a laughing emoji in the story he posed about Usman. Conor seems to take this incident funnily but the duo has previously engaged in some very serious social media fights.

In his last tweeting spree, he talked about going up to the welterweight division and defeating champion Kamaru Usman to win the belt. This tweet didn’t sit well with the champion who decided to reply.

Tremendous! I love this record! I fight for the 170lb title I will spark (Usman) too. That would be the fastest ko in ufc title fight (13 seconds) Most knockdowns in ufc title fight (5) And then another KO in a ufc title fight. 3 title fights. 3 kos. 3 new records. It’s right there!’

Usman: Spark who?? You must be talking about that pipe you’ve been smoking. Unlike you, if I’m gonna talk shit ill @ U. Now be quiet before I call Poirier or Khabib or Diaz to finish you again #P4P”

Conor Mcgregor last fought against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. The fight was won by Dustin Poirier via TKO as the doctor waved off the fight. Conor broke his ankle by the end of the first round. The injury was caused even before the fight, during his training for the fight. Conor later went through surgery and said that he will be back in the octagon soon.

Kamaru Usman is now scheduled to take on his arch-rival and his toughest UFC fight today; Colby Covington. Kamaru Usman is set to defend his title against Colby at UFC 268 in November at MSG.
