Former two-division champion Conor McGregor remains on the sidelines due to injury but he is having some fun outside the cage. He recently did his best James Bond impression on Christmas.
The Irishman is quite active on social media and from time to time he posts video clips for his fans. In a new clip, ‘Notorious’ pulled off an hilarious impression of popular character, James Bond.

Taking to his Instagram stories, McGregor posted a video clip in which he is seen mimicking the iconic James Bond. He mimicked the iconic line – “The name’s Bond“, followed by hysteric laughter.

In the trilogy bout against rival Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, McGregor broke his fibula. Ever since that, he has been recuperating on the sidelines after titanium shinbone insertion. The Irishman is training hard and throwing powerful kicks in sparring sessions.
Conor McGregor is ‘sick of waiting’ to make his UFC return
McGregor recently made his presence felt ringside on Saturday for the ‘Day of Reckoning’ boxing pay-per-view in Riyadh, Saudia Arabia. The event saw Anthony Joshua defeat Otto Wallin via fifth-round stoppage and Joseph Parker upset Deontay Wilder by decision.
Following the event, Conor McGregor spoke to TalkSPORT about his potential return to UFC, which remains without a concrete date in 2024.
“‘The Mac’ has loads to offer and loads to deliver,” McGregor said.
“The lads here [in Saudi Arabia] are talking Manny [Pacquiao in boxing], the UFC aren’t talking any. … Give me something. You know what I’m saying? I was supposed to be back in April [2024], I was supposed to be back in April. It was supposed to be December. They’ve never treated anyone [like this]. No one’s ever been treated [like this]. For all the figures I’ve brought in this game — I sell more than all of them combined, yeah? I sell more than every one of them combined.
There have been reports about McGregor’s UFC return bout against Michael Chandler since coaching against the American on The Ultimate Fighter 31 in early 2023. The fighter himself had clarified that UFC was targeting April 2024 for his comeback fight and we will have to wait and see what the future holds for him.
