The biggest MMA superstar Conor McGregor has issued a statement on the recent allegations against him and also talked about his mental status and issues regarding it.

Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor was interviewed and released in Corsica earlier this week following allegations of “attempted sexual assault and sexual exhibition.” Local authorities released a statement to AFP news in France after an initial report stated McGregor had been detained on indecent exposure allegations.

“Following a complaint filed on September 10 denouncing acts that could be described as attempted sexual assault and sexual exhibition, Mr Conor Anthony MacGregor was the subject of a hearing by the police,” the prosecutor’s office wrote in the statement.

McGregor was preparing to take part in a 180-kilometre, 24-hour charity water bike race from Calvi in Corsica to Monaco alongside Princess Charlene of Monaco to help promote the awareness of water safety, but he has since been forced to withdraw. A representative for McGregor issued a statement to TMZ Sports saying: “Conor McGregor vigorously denies any accusations of misconduct. He has been interviewed and released.”

Audie Attar, who manages McGregor, and the Irishman’s legal team have both released statements denying the allegations against him.

“I am irate and putting out a warning loud and clear: Conor McGregor is not and will not be a target for those seeking to score a headline or a payday,” Attar said.

While all this was going on a series of tweets from McGregor created a buzz in the MMA world which was later on deleted by Conor.

Conor Mcgregor in those tweets wrote

“I can’t go on like this man. I am crushed here.”

“Suicide intervention yet ridiculing me in this manner online, at this horrendous time in my life,” he tweeted. “I am trying to stay strong for my kids and the people that rely on me and that love and support me. Thanks for the insults, hypocrite.”

On Tuesday, McGregor reportedly published a statement on the allegations he’s currently facing as well as several older allegations on his private Facebook page. He also wrote concerns about his mental health. The screenshot of his statement, obtained by Harry Williams of the Irish MMA outlet SevereMMA.

“I will never kill myself no matter how many wish for it,” McGregor wrote (transcription via MiddleEasy). “Try set me up all yous f—ing wants over and over and over the truth will always set me free! Be it baby father claims, rape, indecent exposure, bulls–t WhatsApp group s–t. You f—ing name it. Never will I fold! The truth is the truth and it gives me wings! I know my character! God bless DNA! God bless Cctv! God bless Eye witness! God bless the truth! The truth is power! I am free! Never will a dime be paid to anyone coming at me with vicious lies! Not now not f—ing ever! I will fight! And I am only beginning my fight! All these past incidents you will see! They will not be forgotten! I will not allow these people to just accuse me and then disappear into the dark to attempt to ruin someone else life! No f—ing way!”

So even though Conor is retired from MMA he still keeps to make the headlines but by the wrong means. More information regarding the situation will soon be out till then The MMA world hopes McGregor gets out of these allegations and hold his strong while facing these tough times.
