UFC superstar Conor McGregor and his arch-rival Nate Diaz have started another Twitter battle between them, this time they have some new bombs to throw at each other.
McGregor first posted a video of him doing crunches, noting that USADA — the UFC’s anti-doping partner — has tested him (both blood and urine tests) twice within the past week. McGregor noted he doesn’t exactly have a problem with this, but rather a problem with positive tests no longer being made public.
In a series of tweets that seemed to come out of nowhere on April 18, Conor McGregor aimed the UFC, USADA, and Nate Diaz in regards to fighters taking and getting caught with steroids and other performance enhancers.
Usada tested me right before this. Blood and urine. That’s twice this week. I don’t blame them, I’m a animal. What irks me tho is there is never an announcement of athletes caught anymore? This means –
1. They can keep it quiet.
2. Tainted supplement bullshit excuses are accepted pic.twitter.com/6Vqii96Z4o— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) April 18, 2021

.@JeffNovitzkyUFC how come the public isn’t told about positive tests anymore? How after the Nate Diaz steroid debacle, where he produced his own nutrition companies tainted multivitamin, was instantly cleared prior to a mega money fight, are we now in the dark on test results?

McGregor took to social media where he noted that USADA has tested him twice this week, which he had no problem doing. What bothers McGregor, however, is two-fold. One, he doesn’t like that USADA changed the rules so that failed drug tests don’t come out immediately until the athlete goes through a process. And two, there have been a lot of fighters who have tested positive only to be vindicated due to tainted supplements.

Well anyways thanks for clearing that up for me Jeff, the silence makes perfect sense. Also where is my usada over 50 clean tests completed jacket I see everyone else get?

Nate Diaz Responds to Conor Mcgregor
Nate Diaz wasted no time to respond to Conor about this allegation of steroid use. Diaz quickly reacted to those remarks and the pair began taking jabs back and forth. After McGregor requested that Jeff Novitzky and the UFC provide him with his 50 clean drug tests jacket, so he could wipe his ass with it, Nate Diaz replied with the following diss.
@TheNotoriousMMA so I brought mgregor fast to life for you and u didn’t use it against mayweather kabob or dP ur supposed to learn and grow in this game grasshopper not keep fucking up the same way like a rookie 👊🏼

“@TheNotoriousMMA so I brought McGregor fast to life for you and you didn’t use it against Mayweather, Khabib, or Dustin Poirier? You’re supposed to learn and grow in this game grasshopper, not keep fucking up the same way like a rookie.”
Nate Diaz continued:
I’m write up a Diaz conditioning system to show how it’s really done anyway and shit on this stupid ass gregor fast bullshit this dumb fuck just copy’s all my moves anyway tryin to get on a bike and swim and shit 😂

Conor then again replied to Nate’s remark on his loss at UFC 196.
Silly goose, that was pre @McGregorFast.
McGregor FAST was created in the aftermath of that fight.

The bad blood between Diaz and McGregor still exists. Will it ever lead to a trilogy fight after each man picked up a win over the other back in 2016? It remains to be seen.
However, they each have bigger things to focus on at the moment. McGregor meets Poirier in July, while Diaz is set to make his return to the octagonCono against Leon Edwards at UFC 262 on May 15.
