Last two weeks have been pretty inconsistent for Conor McGregor. First, he announced that he has retired from Mixed Martial Arts, then he got involved in an intense personal beef with UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and announced that he has unretired.
The former UFC bantamweight and lightweight champion took to Twitter to congratulate the Wrestlemania participants. Alongside congratulating the wrestlers, he then teased that he is interested in wrestling in the WWE.
Today in WrestleMania 35, history was made as for the first time in history the main event was headlined by trio women i.e Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair squared off in a triple threat for both women’s championships. McGregor’s fellow Irish Becky Lynch took home the championship which took place at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey in front of 82,265 which was the third highest in Wrestle Mania history.
Congrats to Irelands Becky Lynch, the WWE’s first Champ Champ.
Wow!
What a match these ladies put on! Ronda Rousey is something special in that ring, as is Charlotte Flair of the Flair dynasty!
Stephanie McMahon you are right, I could not do what these athletes do.
