UFC’s biggest star and former two-division Champion Conor McGregor is currently going through an extensive training camp for his much-awaited return to the UFC Octagon against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229. The Irishman’s last entry into an MMA cage was in 2016 for the lightweight championship against Eddie Alvarez. He finished Alvarez and became the first double weight champion in the history of the promotion.
McGregor recently took it to his official Twitter handle and posted a video of him destroying all of his training partners in sparring sessions. That was the first time after a long hiatus, Mcgregor had posted something remotely comparable to a ‘trash talk’ or maybe something which sounds like a caveat to his opponents. The reason for this- probably the UFC 223 Melee and its subsequent legal actions or maybe his last loss against Floyd Mayweather.

After the shocking announcement regarding the secluded UFC 229 presser yesterday by UFC, the ‘Notorious’ has yet again released a footage of him training. This time, he is back again Showboating against his sparring partner and showcasing some unorthodox footwork. This should be taken as a clear warning for his next opponent, something to remind his doubters, of the striking superiority.
Conor McGregor has clearly showcased an upper hand in the social media psychological warfare against his Russian counterpart. Things may heat up a little when the duo meet for the first time during the UFC229 Presser next week. The outcome of that event can also be predicted. Conor will dominate Khabib in trash talking. But the real question is, can he do the same on October 6th?
