Former two-division world champion Paulie Malignaggi has signed a promotional contract with Bare Knuckle FC and fight former UFC bantamweight contender Artem Lobov, given the later wins his fight against Jason Knight on 6th April 2019. Paulie will make his debut in June.
But the thought of fighting Conor McGregor hasn’t left his mind. Pauli Malignaggi and Conor McGregor have beef that goes back almost two years. McGregor had bought Paulie to help him prepare for his fight against five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather back in 2017.
However, the online scuffle between McGregor and Malignaggi has intensified after Paulie slapped Artem Lobov at the media event in New York. After this McGregor fired a series of tweets where he posted pics of Conor dominating Paulie in their infamous sparring session.

Paulie recently appeared on Luke Thomas’s MMA Hour show where he was asked if he would ever want to fight Conor McGregor, he said he would like that fight, but the Irishmen would never fight him.
“But with Paulie Malignaggi, the perception is you[Conor] knocked him down, the perception is, you beat him up, now you’re gonna wind up in a fight and he is gonna beat the f*** out of you all over the place and he is gonna make you look stupid doing it. Conor knows, he has sparred me, I just don’t beat the shit out of you, I am gonna talk shit, I am gonna embarrass you and I am gonna emasculate you while I am doing it and you’re not gonna like it, it’s not gonna be a loss, it’s gonna be an embarrassment,” he said.
“People will not forgive you for the loss, but for the lies, true fans will forgive you for losing but they will not forgive you for lying and because of the lies they would never forgive him. So no matter for all the money in the world, Conor can’t fight me.” Paulie said.
